


As VP of Marketing, Michael Zimmerman is responsible for implementing a global marketing strategy, across all of Prometric's market segments, which reinforces our vision, mission and values. His focus is on clearly defining and executing on Prometric's marketing objectives and approaches to brand positioning, advertising, public relations, communications and e-media.
Michael has over 30 years of progressive management experience, 25 years of which has been in sales and marketing. He was previously Executive VP of a successful regional B2B advertising agency, with clients in each of the business segments served by Prometric. In 2002, he led the turn-around of a premier Washington-area color printer, reorganizing and repositioning that bankrupt acquisition, achieving profitability in his first quarter as president, and maintaining it throughout his tenure. He has written and delivered training programs in sales and customer service for companies with annual revenues ranging from $20 Million to one billion dollars.
A graduate of Messiah College and an active member of the American Society for Training & Development, Michael has served on the board of several non-profits, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and HELP, and has worked with the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Big Brothers of America. In 1991, he received a letter of commendation from President George H. Bush for his work in public service.
